About the role
As a Capital Markets Associate, you will support the execution of financing transactions that power Energy Company's solar deployments. You will develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate project economics, cash flows, and investment returns. You will manage financial due diligence processes from initial discussions through closing, coordinating with internal teams, investors, and external advisors. You will prepare investment materials, data room documents, and presentations for investor meetings. You will track deal pipelines, manage transaction timelines, and ensure smooth coordination across all parties. This role offers significant exposure to renewable energy finance and the opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling company.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in project finance, investment banking, or structured finance
- Renewable energy or solar finance experience strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Understanding of tax equity structures and project finance mechanics
- Experience managing due diligence processes and coordinating with external parties
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required
- MBA or CFA a plus
